The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful area and is a place to relax. You will need a scooter or car to be here, since the location is in a hill and has no shops around. The swiming pool and garden are beautiful and the staff are very friendly. We had our breakfast included, but we had to choose one drink and one meal, so for those who like a big breakfast you have to pay extra. The room was confortable with air conditioned but the amenities were only shampoo and gel to wash hands. Since this is a 4* rated hotel we expected a little more. We recomend this hotel for those who like to explore and travel on their own.
Off a very nondescript narrow road is this quaint abode. We had booked through air bnb but it was staffed on the front desk.
A king size bed and sofa in the main room with an outside kitchen space that has two gas hobs and a fridge freezer and microwave also with a sofa and couples dining table. The kitchenette also has a sink and is compact but perfectly good to use.
The private pool is smaller than the pictures I think but still nice to catch some some and have a dip in.
Unfortunately we didn’t have the sunshine in the two days we were here but we were happy with our stay.
The toilet and shower are also inside/outside and when it rains the floor gets wet as it drips in
These were some of the nicest villas we’ve seen in our three weeks in Indonesia, and certainly great value for the price. The grounds were well groomed, yet casually and homey with terraced grass lawns surrounding the pool and jacuzzi. The view to the ocean from our balcony was an unexpected surprise. And the staff helped us with anything and everything we needed: scooter, transit to airport, and even Bond leading us with his scooter to the beach and the surf instructor they had helped us arrange! Some of the arrangements were with family members and we were happy that was the case, as they all seemed to share a kind, super professional, and happy disposition. Uluwatu is a chill area, and Bali Green Hills helped continue that vibe.
We loved the place it was very quiet with nice view on the forest and sea on the horizon. Very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. We could rent a motorbike also with good price. It's very useful to get around the area for visiting uluwatu temple and dreamland beach
We had a very nice stay at the Bali Green Hills and would highly recommend it to everyone. Although it says South Kuta, it really is in Padang Padang Beach area. We were greeted when we arrived by Bond, the owner, and several other staff. They helped us with our baggage, and were incredibly kind throughout our stay.
The amenities were very nice and unexpected, especially coming from another AirBNB that was more expensive without amenities. There was a mini fridge, tolitries, TV, very affordable drinks in the fridge, and they cleaned the place each day. They offered a light lunch for a reasonable cost, and also the breakfast was very good.
All of the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. One of the staff even gave my son some toys to play with during our stay. With minimal notice, we were able to rent a car and a scooter which was extremely convenient. The view from the balcony is also incredible, and there is a larger pool and a smaller jacuzzi which our 1.5 year old son loved because he could stand up in it.
The only negative for me was the inconvenience of the location, and that was partially because of my family situation. Because we have a young baby, we couldn't use a scooter to get around. We did rent the car one day, but wouldn't want to do that for several days. The walk down to a few restaurants isn't too bad (15-20 minutes depending on the route), but we encountered monkeys on the way down and had to turn around and go the other way. The main road at the bottom of the hill does not have sidewalks and is not very safe to walk on, especially at night.
The beach down at the bottom of the hill is also very small, and had monkeys and a good bit of trash too. I had read good things about it and was surprised with how it was. We ended up renting the car and driving to Nusa Dua Resort and beach (about 45 min drive away) and that was really good. Overall, this place was very nice, and would strongly recommend it!
