Ahimsa Beach

Stayed for seven nights at this great location in Jimbaren Bay. Our private pool villa, one of nine, was very spacious and the private bedroom was quiet and air conditioned with the pool longe kitchen area open. We had breakfast cooked in our villa each morning from an extensive menu. Ahimsa is located 150 m from Queens beach with a good selection of seafood restaurants to choose from and several other more upmarket also close by. It costs 50000rupiah for a taxi to either Kuta Square or Galleria ( note only use Blue Bird Group taxi's) reception will call one for you. There is a very good supermarket about a 10 minute walk south along the main road called Naty's. Thoroughly recommend this beach resort and the location

We stayed here for only one night but loved the hotel. Nice rooms, lovely small private pool, breakfast is prepared in your room. You can walk to the beach with many nice restaurants there. When you walk to the other side there is a main road where you can get a cheap and good massage.

We stayed here for our last 3 nights in August, loved the villa, it was very quite, lovely and clean, the pool was quite cold but we found that a lot this time around :) lovely outdoor bathroom, well appointed kitchen with plenty of fresh drinking water, beautiful breakfast cooked in your villa, staff were all amazing, pretty much everything you could ask for!! It was our first time in Jimbaran Bay and probably would not stay in the area again (personal preference)

Last night of our trip was spent here and we loved the villa and the pool. The bathroom was the best of all the places we stayed in Bali. I was worried about noise with it being close to the road and nearest to reception but this was not a problem. Huge living area and great pool. Staff were generally friendly and the ladies who came to cook our breakfast were lovely (and did a great job) The free airport shuttle was a great bonus. The beach is just a quick walk away and there is sort of a beach club where you give a voucher to a guy and he sorts you out a sun bed but it is nothing to write home about. Just somewhere to sit and leave your stuff if you want a swim. There are also a couple of really very good restaurants next door to this place. Unlike other villa complexes in Bali this one has no facilities as such like a restaurant or spa, bar or anything like that, and the service was good rather than great (admittedly in Bali they do spoil you with great service) as it at times felt a little impersonal. But in terms of a last night stay near the airport this is an excellent option. My wife would have given this place 5 stars but I'm sticking with 4.

We stayed at the Ahimsa beach Jimbaran on the last leg of a 21day trip to Bali and by the time we arrived at Ahimsa beach villas we were all a little frazzled. What a welcome relief it was to be greeted by the best accomodation and the friendliest staff we had encountered for the whole trip. I could go on for hours about how incredible the staff and amenities were but I’ll wrap it up in one sentence. ‘Ahimsa beach is everything the brochure promises and more, if you are considering staying here for 3 nights make it six you won’t be disappointed.’ The location is ideal for access to the numerous beach seafood restaurants and most can be reached by foot. It’s also a great base and close enough to all the famous beach destinations of the Bukit peninsula, rock bar, dreamland beach etc. We have already booked our return visit!
